Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service while following dietary needs and recipes.

You will join a supportive team dedicated to positive resident experiences. Eligible candidates typically have a high school diploma, cooking experience, and willingness to comply with vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• May be required to complete a sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state law.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep the kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
