Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure quality and presentation, work with staff to deliver a pleasant dining experience, and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines while assisting with inventory and guest interactions.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior cooking experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Certificate: ServSafe or Food Handler may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
