PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Care Coordinator to support high-performing hospitals with superior veterinary care and service. You will perform a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing essential support to the hospital and to pet owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records
• Excellent customer service skills
• Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and inform about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assist with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
