Internal Medicine Associates LLC in Anchorage, Alaska, seeks a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to manage scheduling, patient communication, and preoperative coordination.

You will coordinate procedures, triage referrals, obtain authorizations, and support billing and records while maintaining HIPAA compliance. This full-time role requires strong organizational skills and excellent communication within a busy clinic.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of administrative experience in a medical office.
• Experience with insurance preauthorization and patient collections preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule procedures, new patient, and follow-up appointments.
• Interact with patients, physicians and staff to provide timely information.
• Review and triage referrals with accurate documentation and timely response.
• Obtain authorizations for procedures from insurance providers.
• Provide accurate preoperative information and coordinate anesthesia/procedure prep.
