Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete referrals for patients and coordinate with referring and receiving practices and/or departments.
• Coordinate and prepare financial estimates for patients.
• Obtain all authorizations needed.
• Direct patients to providers in their insurance plan.
• Review benefits and educate patient on insurance coverage.
• Coordinate and schedules surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, or other services within various departments with internal and ancillary providers.
• Review schedules and confirm schedules are accurate and time is properly allocated.
• Follow up on all referrals to ensure no care gaps.
