Job summary

USC Care Medical Group in Los Angeles is seeking an organized Care Coordinator for the Ambulatory clinic. You will support daily clinic operations, manage referrals and scheduling, and ensure a smooth patient flow for multi-specialty services.

You will be the frontline for patient interactions, guiding customers through scheduling, insurance questions, and paperwork while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with customer service and/or medical office experience.
• 1 year ambulatory care experience in a coordinator role or similar.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Cerner, GE Centricity, PBAR and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinic preparation including scheduling, patient registration, referrals management, and message distribution.
• Serve as a single point of contact for patients and caregivers to improve the patient experience.
• Proactively manage clinic schedules and coordinate multi-specialty appointments and testing.
