Job summary

Responsibilities include processing referrals, verifying information, coordinating tests, and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations while protecting patient confidentiality and delivering courteous service.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service, intake and scheduling.
• Proven track record in serving the public in a customer service role.
• Familiarity with word processing, Microsoft Outlook, intranet queries; knowledge of GE Centricity Business, Cerner, PBAR and scheduling systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Must be highly flexible and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Enter information accurately into computer systems.
• Process new referrals, obtain medical records, verify insurance, and obtain visit authorizations.
• Schedule evaluations and clinic appointments in a timely manner.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing and referrals as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respond to communications promptly.
