Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Care Coordinator to support patients, providers, and payers by coordinating benefits verification, treatment access, and prior authorizations. You will serve as a key contact through the patient journey while delivering excellent service and timely access to therapy.

The role involves handling calls, verifying benefits, enrollment assistance, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Healthcare reimbursement, insurance, billing, benefit verification, or patient services experience.
• Call center or customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy insurance, prior authorizations, and appeals.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, providers, payers, and pharmacies.
• Coordinate benefit verification, prior authorizations, appeals, and insurance support.
• Assist with patient enrollment, eligibility, affordability programs, and treatment access.
• Build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and privacy regulations.
• Resolve reimbursement and insurance-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support positive patient outcomes.
• Report adverse events and safety concerns as required.
