Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Care Coordinator for a hybrid contract role in Morrisville, NC. You will provide inbound/outbound call support, coordinate patient benefits, orders, and appointments, and act as a primary contact among payers, patients, and providers.

Role requires strong knowledge of payer types, prior authorization, and patient-centric service. Excellent communication and CRM proficiency are essential for success in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of reimbursement/insurance experience, or High School with 5 years in related field.
• Call Center/HUB or customer service experience with progressive levels of responsibility in a service-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Strong knowledge of prior authorization and appeals.
• Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy insurance terminology and billing or benefit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Care Coordinator serves as expert on benefit coordination and handles provider/patient interactions.
• Advocates for patients regarding eligibility, enrollment, and affordability for prescribed therapy.
• Establishes relationships with providers and patients to maintain rapport.
• Acts as liaison for program management and other internal stakeholders.
