Harmony Senior Services in Bridgeport, WV is hiring a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. You will report concerns, assist with ADLs, help with meals, assist in activity programs, and maintain confidentiality per policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program, strong communication, organization, and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to safely lift and transfer residents while maintaining proper body mechanics.
• Must be in designated uniform during working hours, to include name badge.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Reports incidents involving residents to include care concerns or issues to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties, such as making beds and cleaning resident areas.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Assists residents to and from the dining room, and to and from activities.
• Checks on residents, ensures attendance at meals and activities.
• Communicates resident status, upcoming information, appointments, admissions, and transfers in writing and verbally.
• Assists new residents with move-in transition: provide emotional support.
• Other duties as assigned.
