Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care for residents in Bridgeport, West Virginia. You will assist with daily living activities, respond to care needs, and support a calm, compassionate care environment.

Responsibilities include documenting resident status, coordinating with the nursing team, and participating in activity planning. A High School Diploma or GED and PCA program completion are required, with CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete an approved PCA program per state regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Organized, able to work with all levels of staff.
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and assist transfers.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and facility duties as directed.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Assist in planning and conducting activities for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities.
• Monitor resident attendance at meals and events.
• Provide emotional support during move-in transitions.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
