Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Bridgeport, WV, is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living during 7:00am–7:00pm shifts. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED and have completed an approved PCA program. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days is required. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations, as applicable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Performs housekeeping duties in resident areas and common spaces as directed.
• Responds promptly to resident calls and emergencies and remains calm.
• Plans and participates in activity programs for residents.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information and supports move-in transitions.
