Job summary

Valley Health is seeking an Access Navigator to be the primary contact in a busy call center, helping patients access services and schedule appointments. You will coordinate referrals and act as a liaison among patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role emphasizes empathy, effective communication, and attention to detail as you navigate the health care system and support continuity of care for diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; BA in VMG specialty office or scheduling experience acceptable in lieu.
• 2–3 years of healthcare and customer service experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact in a high-volume call center for patients, referring physicians, caregivers and the community.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals and facilitating access to services.
• Act as a liaison between referring providers, patients and specialists to support continuity of care.
