Job summary

Syneos Health in Rockville, MD is seeking a Cardiovascular Sales Representative to achieve sales goals in an assigned geography by executing an integrated territory plan and building lasting physician partnerships.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales, a Life Sciences or related degree, and strong analytical and CRM skills. You will travel as needed and contribute to cross-functional initiatives within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years cardiovascular/cardiometabolic strongly preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, learning ability, autonomy and proficiency with CRM and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customers and accounts with the goal of maximizing sales.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment with cross-functional collaboration (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and plan activities for regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company's brand strategy and tactics within their geographic area.
• Participation in training and development programs.
• Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies with high integrity.
