Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Sales Representative to drive sales within an assigned geography and execute territory plans in a compliant manner. You will establish relationships with targeted physicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pharma/biopharmaceutical sales, with strong analytical skills, the ability to learn complex scientific information, and the autonomy to work in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in life sciences, business or related field.
• 3+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years cardiovascular/cardiometabolic sales strongly preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customers and accounts with the goal of maximizing sales.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment with cross-functional partners (e.g., FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations).
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills (including group presentations).
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company’s brand strategy and tactics within their assigned geographic area.
• Participation in training and development programs.
• Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies and demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
• Additional duties as required.
