Job summary

Abbott is seeking a dedicated sales professional to drive Heart Failure solutions in the Los Angeles area. You will apply clinical knowledge of Ventricular Assist Devices, manage contracts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and growth.

The role requires five years of medical device sales experience within Cardiovascular, and the ability to travel extensively, including overnights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant field of study required (or equivalent).
• Five years of medical device sales experience required within Cardiovascular field.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory including overnights.
• Understanding of hospital account management and proven ability to establish strong customer relationships is required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets as outlined in the SIP and Vital Few.
• Clinical knowledge of all Abbott Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) system to support cases as needed.
• Manage customer contracts, price quotes, and monthly reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with Territory Team, Training & Education, Reimbursement, and Technical Services for seamless customer support.
• Forecasting, account assessment, and strategic planning using the Strategic Selling approach.
• Establish outstanding customer relationships and professional conduct at all times.
• Prepare territory budget and revenue forecast for annual sales planning.
