Job summary

Abbott in San Diego is seeking an experienced Heart Failure Sales Specialist to drive growth across the territory. You will leverage clinical knowledge of Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet SIP and Vital Few targets.

You will manage customer relationships, provide technical support, forecast revenue, and contribute to the sales pipeline while adhering to Advamed guidelines and hospital policies. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant field (or equivalent).
• Five years of medical device sales experience in cardiovascular.
• Ability to travel extensively in the territory, including overnights.
• Strong understanding of hospital account management and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets as outlined in the SIP and Vital Few.
• Provide clinical and technical support to customers.
• Prepare territory budget and revenue forecast for the annual sales plan.
• Maintain regular contact with current and potential accounts in the assigned territory.
