Job summary

Abbott’s Heart Failure division advances the treatment of heart and vascular disease with breakthrough medical technologies. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, handling contract negotiations, and delivering clinical support to cardiovascular customers.

You will collaborate with Clinical, Reimbursement, Training, and Marketing teams to expand your territory and ensure access to life-saving devices. Travel across the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant field of study required (or equivalent).
• Five years of medical device sales experience required within Cardiovascular field.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory including overnights.
• Understanding of hospital account management and proven ability to establish strong customer relationships is required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets as outlined in SIP and Vital Few.
• Clinical knowledge of all Abbott Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) system to support cases as needed.
• Manage business processes including customer contract negotiation, price quotes, customer complaints, monthly reports, TAPs, Blue Sheets, Partnership Summary, SFA, RMA, and Concur expense reporting.
• Collaborate with Territory Team, Training and Education, Center Development, Reimbursement, Technical Services, Customer Service, Marketing and Field Management.
• Grow the business and achieve sales targets through strategic planning and account management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to Advamed guidelines.
• Establish outstanding customer relationships and provide high-level sales activity and guidance.

Education

Bachelor degree in relevant field

Five years of medical device sales experience

Ability to travel extensively

Understanding of hospital account management
