Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to assess and diagnose the business environment across assigned health-system accounts and execute strategies for portfolio performance.

The role requires building relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and decision-makers to improve utilization of Amgen CV products while coordinating with matrixed teams for access and implementation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Masters degree with 4+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Bachelors degree with 6+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Cardiology, dyslipidemia, heart failure and hospital access experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and drive compliant, innovative strategies.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives enabling sustainable utilization.
• Develop account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy and market needs.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaison as appropriate.
• Meet with hospital decision-makers and present data and messages in compliant manner.
• Coordinate pull-through and access with sales and reimbursement teams.
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics.
