Job summary

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced, high-impact District Manager to lead and develop a team of Sales Representatives within our expanding cardiometabolic franchise, launching RNAi therapies such as Plozasiran.

This leadership role focuses on achieving district sales targets, coaching field teams, and coordinating with regional leadership to ensure launch readiness and compliant promotional execution across priority accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Prior field leadership or formal mentoring experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in specialty, rare disease, or cardiovascular therapeutic areas preferred.
• Demonstrated success in launch environments or high-growth franchises highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a field Sales Representatives team to execute launch plans across the district.
• Own district sales targets, metrics, and forecast accuracy; translate strategy into district plans.
• Guide territory planning, call plan optimization, and high-quality HCP engagement.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Director, Key Account Managers, Health IT, Market Access, Marketing and Medical Affairs.
• Model compliant promotional practices and manage district budgets for speaker programs.
