Job summary

Discover International is expanding its specialty sales organization and is seeking an experienced Territory Business Manager to drive growth across an assigned geography.

This is a high-level clinical selling role focused on engaging Cardiologists, Heart Failure specialists, Nephrologists and other healthcare professionals, understanding complex patient needs and building relationships that improve patient access and treatment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field sales within specialty pharma or healthcare sales.
• Experience selling to Cardiologists, Heart Failure and Nephrologists.
• Existing cardiovascular/institutional customer relationships.
• Experience across hospitals, IDNs, large practices and institutional accounts.
• Ability to access difficult-to-reach customers and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with HUBs, reimbursement, Medicare, coverage determination and/or prior authorization is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve sales targets and drive sustainable growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Cardiologists, Heart Failure specialists, Nephrologists and other key healthcare professionals.
• Drive appropriate utilization of an innovative therapy within a complex cardiovascular landscape.
• Develop relationships across physician practices, hospitals, IDNs, HF clinics and other accounts.
• Identify and overcome barriers to access, working with reimbursement, HUB and access resources.
• Use territory analytics and performance metrics to prioritize accounts and maximize time with high-value customers.
• Provide voice-of-customer feedback, competitive insights and market intelligence to the organization.
• Partner cross-functionally with regional, medical and commercial colleagues to execute territory strategies.
