Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills; basic Microsoft Office skills; Excel familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones promptly and courteously, routing calls to appropriate area/individual.
• Schedules and cancels appointments; prepares for day and creates new patient charts.
• Greets patients/visitors professionally and informs about privacy policies; assists with delays.
• Performs patient registration to ensure demographic/insurance information is accurate.
• Collects co-payments and balances at check-in; refers questions to billing as needed.
