Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience as receptionist or clerk in healthcare or 1 year customer service.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and codes (ICD-10/CPT).
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones promptly and courteously across multiple lines.
• Schedules and cancels appointments per CH guidelines.
• Prepares new patient charts and registration paperwork.
• Greets patients and visitors professionally and informs about privacy policies.
• Registers patients accurately with demographic and insurance data; collects co-pays at check-in.
• Handles day-end processes, balances batches and assists with follow-up as needed.
