Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
• Associate's Degree or progress towards degree (Preferred)
• Medical Terminology (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for visits.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment.
• Enter/update patient demographics, insurance and financial info.
• Communicate information to care team.
• Contact insurance for coverage, preapprovals and billing.
• Process patient payments for copays, coinsurance and balances.
• Scan documents into EPIC.
• Schedule referrals and follow-ups.
• Handle EPIC workqueues and inbasket messages.
