Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Institutional & Specialty Sales Consultant for Cardiology to cover the Tidewater, Williamsburg, Norfolk, and Peninsula West areas. The role is residency-based with up to 50% travel within the territory, focusing on education, demand generation and strategic account plans.

Ideal candidates will have cardiovascular/renal knowledge, product launch experience, and strong communication skills. A valid driver’s license is required for field activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cardiovascular-renal therapeutic areas and market dynamics.
• Experience launching new products or indications.
• Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical demand, education and sales for cardiovascular-renal products.
• Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary and protocol adoption.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for top Institutions with local market insight.
• Demonstrate disease-state expertise and identify opportunities and challenges.
• Build relationships with cardiologists, nephrologists and key institutional stakeholders.
• Manage P&T committee processes at priority institutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pull through partnerships.
