Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Institutional & Specialty Sales Consultant in Cardiology for Oregon South. The role focuses on driving clinical demand, education and sales across hospitals, health systems and cardiology settings, with a strong emphasis on formulary and protocol adoption.

Ideal candidates will have cardiovascular/renal expertise, a track record in launching products, and proven communication skills. Travel up to 40% within the territory; residence-based role, domicile within Oregon South is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Deep expertise and understanding of the cardiovascular and/or renal therapeutic area(s).
• Experience launching new products and product indications.
• Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical demand, education and sales, explaining disease state and treatment options to clinicians and health systems.
• Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary/pathway/protocol adoption.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for top institutions with local market insights.
• Demonstrate disease/state knowledge, market dynamics and cross-functional collaboration.
