Bayer seeks an Institutional & Specialty Sales Consultant in Oregon South to present cardiovascular/renal products to healthcare professionals and hospitals. You will drive demand, educate clinicians, and collaborate with marketing and other teams to achieve outcomes in a large territory centered in Oregon South, with up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience.
• Deep expertise and understanding of the cardiovascular and/or renal therapeutic area(s).
• Experience launching new products and product indications.
• Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical demand, education and sales, and educate professionals on product benefits.
• Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary/protocol adoption.
• Develop strategic business plans for top Institutions and cardiology areas.
• Demonstrate disease/state knowledge and analytical business acumen.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in Institutions and cardiologists.
• Manage P&T committee processes at priority Institutions.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to pull through partnerships.
• Support Area General Managers on strategic projects as needed.
• Leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance.
• Comply with pharmaceutical guidelines and ethical standards.
