Job summary

Bayer seeks an Institutional & Specialty Sales Consultant, Cardiology to drive clinical demand and educate physicians across Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and surrounding Tidewater areas. This field-based role requires strategic planning, strong relationship building and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; deep cardiovascular/renal therapeutic area knowledge.
• Experience launching new products and indications.
• Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical demand, education and sales to educate healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
• Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary adoption.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for top Institutions with in-depth understanding of local market dynamics.
• Demonstrate disease state knowledge, marketplace, competitors, and cross-functional activities; identify business opportunities.
• Build key relationships with prioritized customers including C-Suite, Head of Pharmacy and Cardiologists/Nephrologists.
• Manage P&T committee processes at priority Institutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic partnerships with key customers.
• Provide support to Area General Managers on strategic projects.
