Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Institutional & Specialty Sales Consultant for Cardiology in Oregon South. This role focuses on presenting cardiovascular therapies to healthcare professionals, educating on product benefits, and coordinating with hospitals and health systems.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or extensive sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex timelines. Travel up to 40% within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Deep expertise in cardiovascular and/or renal therapeutic areas.
• Experience launching new products and indications.
• Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical demand, education and sales to educate healthcare professionals and stakeholders on products.
• Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary/pathway/protocol adoption.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for top Institutions with market insight.
• Demonstrate disease state knowledge and identify opportunities and challenges.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders at Institutions and Cardiologists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pull through partnerships and projects.
