Capital Health is seeking a Patient Reception Representative to join Cardiology Specialists in New Hope, PA. The individual will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, assist with registrations, and collect payments.

The role requires professionalism, familiarity with medical terminology, and strong customer service skills. This full-time, day-shift position emphasizes accurate data entry, privacy compliance, and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a receptionist or clerk in a healthcare environment or one year of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT codes; certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer telephones promptly and courteously; route calls to appropriate area.
• Schedule and cancel appointments; prepare patient charts and paperwork.
• Perform patient registration to collect demographic and insurance information; ensure accuracy and privacy.
• Collect co-payments and balances; refer questions to appropriate staff.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow department procedures; verify referrals and authorizations.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage related worklists; perform other clerical duties as needed.
