Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a dedicated 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support our Cardiology practice onsite at 22 Atwood Drive in Northampton, MA. The role blends administrative tasks with basic clinical support to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.

Shifts run Monday–Friday within 8:00 am–5:00 pm, and the position requires on-site work. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and CMAA preferred, with strong scheduling and billing abilities to support our busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; CMAA preferred.
• Experience in clinical office administration is a plus.
• Proficiency with patient scheduling and billing processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine administrative and clerical duties in a clinical setting.
• Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• Greet and assist patients and respond to routine inquiries.
• Handle telephone calls and coordinate scheduling.
• Process patient billing forms and scan documents.
• Obtain and route patient records and lab results.
• Prepare forms and schedule changes as directed.
• May handle co-payments and assist with registrations.
