Job summary

Maine Health is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer II at Maine Medical Center for full- or part-time roles. The position involves performing moderate complexity cardiac ultrasound exams with independent judgement.

AR DMS or CCI certification is required, BLS within 30 days, and a minimum of one year of experience. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible hires.

Full Time (36hrs); Day Shift

Summary:

The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer


2. License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.


3. Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.


4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.
