RWJBarnabas Health seeks a qualified RN for the Cardiac Post CTICU at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The role emphasizes patient assessment, timely interventions, and collaboration with physicians in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold an active NJ RN license with BLS, a BSN preferred, and EMR experience (EPIC). Full-time, day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend requirement, on-site in Newark, NJ.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate with NJ endorsement.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred; prior patient care experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes for timely intervention.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care with strong clinical judgment.
• Document accurately in the EMR and participate in rounds for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families clearly to support informed decisions post-discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and clinical ladder opportunities.
