RWJBarnabas Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardio Thoracic ICU at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The nurse will work a full-time night shift (7p-7:30a, 36 hrs/wk), deliver evidence-based care, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

NJ RN license in good standing and BLS; ACLS within 120 days; CCRN preferred.
ASN required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1 year hospital experience preferred.
Proficient with EPIC EMR and clinical documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patients and respond to changes.
Administer medications and treatments with clinical judgment and safety.
Partner with physicians to coordinate timely, safe patient care decisions.
Educate patients and families clearly about care plans and next steps.
Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in rounds and contribute to collaborative care planning.
