Ideal candidates hold an active NJ RN license with BLS, a BSN preferred, and EMR experience (EPIC). Full-time, day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend requirement, on-site in Newark, NJ.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate with NJ endorsement.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred; prior patient care experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes for timely intervention.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care with strong clinical judgment.
• Document accurately in the EMR and participate in rounds for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families clearly to support informed decisions post-discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure seamless patient transitions.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Experience is preferred with the cardiac post-CTICU patient population. This position offers a full-time day schedule from 7:00a.m. to 7:30p.m. and every other weekend is required. The schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
