Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an echocardiography technologist to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes technical assistance with exercise and non-exercise stress testing and other duties as assigned.

Requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and education in sonography or related field. New grads accepted; sign-on and relocation bonuses available.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias.
• Assist with stress echocardiography, including dobutamine and exercise tests.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and select appropriate transducers.
• Communicate results to the cardiologist in a timely manner.
• Participate in mobile echo/vascular service regionally.
• Maintain QA/QI and ICAEL accreditation activities.
