Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in echocardiography to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging for adult patients. The role supports stress testing and other duties as assigned, with sign-on and relocation bonuses where applicable.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS/CCI registration (or in progress) and BLS within 30 days, with education in Sonography or a related field. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be supported in obtaining credentials.

Qualifications

• ARDMS/CCI registration within 1 year required or in process.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date required.
• Experience with echocardiography imaging is preferred but new grads are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and support stress testing and related procedures.
• Position patients and optimize transducer placement for best visualization of cardiac structures.
• Assess valve function with color Doppler and measure heart chambers.
• Communicate results to cardiologist and complete documentation accurately.
