Job summary

Carle Health in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Echo Technologist to provide high quality ultrasound images of the heart and great vessels for adult patients and to support stress testing.

This role requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and a background in sonography or related field; new grads welcomed. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Sonography or Related field required.
• New graduates are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels, including EKG anomaly detection.
• Assesses cardiac structures using appropriate imaging and Doppler techniques.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and selects transducers for optimal resolution and penetration.
• Communicates results to the cardiologist and participates in stress echocardiography procedures.
• Maintains documentation and participates in QA/QC programs.
