Job summary

Carle Health in El Paso is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician specializing in cardiac imaging to provide high-quality echocardiography for adult patients. You will perform transthoracic studies, assist with stress testing, and support related duties as assigned.

The position welcomes new grads and offers sign-on and relocation bonuses. ARDMS or CCI certification within one year and BLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year; BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Education: Sonography or Related field
• Work Experience: Accept New Grads

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels, and identifies EKG abnormalities.
• Uses age-specific techniques and transducer positioning to obtain optimal visualization of cardiac structures.
• Assesses valvular function with Doppler and measures chamber dimensions.
• Assists in stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Communicates results to cardiologist and documents findings clearly.
• Participates in regional mobile echo service and callback rotation.
