Job summary

Carle Health is hiring an ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive echocardiography studies, including stress testing and TEE support. You will ensure high-quality images, utilize Doppler techniques, and collaborate with cardiologists to deliver accurate assessments for adult patients.

Eligible candidates include new grads with ARDMS/CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA
• Education: Sonography or related field

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels
• Identify EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias
• Use Doppler and contrast echocardiography to assess flow and structures
• Assess left/right ventricular function and wall motion, document findings
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) with supervision
• Assist in stress echocardiography and pharmacologic studies
• Collaborate with cardiologists, prepare reports, and ensure timely communication
