Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. You will assist with stress testing, Doppler techniques, and TEE as needed, while maintaining accurate documentation and timely communication with cardiology.

The role supports growth in a busy lab, welcomes new graduates with ARDMS/CCI registration within 1 year, and offers sign-on and relocation bonuses where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days.
• Sonography or related field

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Use M-Mode technique for cardiac measurements.
• Assess blood flow with pulsed/continuous-wave Doppler.
• Utilize contrast echocardiography when needed.
• Assist cardiologist with TEE procedures.
• Communicate results to the cardiologist promptly.

Education

ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year

BLS within 30 days (AHA)
