Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to provide high quality ultrasonic imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes clerical and clinical tasks, stress testing support, and collaboration with cardiology to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities cover image acquisition in multiple views, interpretation assistance, and ensuring patient safety and comfort while using advanced echo techniques and doppler imaging.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Sonography or related field education.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Assists in stress echocardiography and TEE as needed.
• Communicates results to the cardiologist promptly.
• Maintains patient safety and imaging quality.
