Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality echocardiography studies of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes technical assistance with stress testing and collaboration with cardiology across the team.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Sonography or related field education.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia during exams.
• Uses Doppler, M-mode and contrast techniques to optimize imaging and evaluate cardiac structures.
• Communicates results to the cardiology team and documents findings.
