Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies and assist with stress and transesophageal procedures. You will work closely with cardiologists, support staff, and mobile echo teams to deliver accurate imaging and timely results.

Ideal candidates are ARDMS/CCI certified with BLS, and possess a Sonography-related education. New grads are encouraged to apply; relocation and sign-on bonuses may be available.

Qualifications

• New grads welcome.
• Experience in adult echocardiography is a plus.
• Certification in ARDMS/CCI and BLS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and optimizes image quality.
• Assesses cardiac structure, function, Doppler findings and reports results.
• Communicates results to the cardiologist and supports interpretation.
• Participates in mobile echo service and callback rotation.
