Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to provide high quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes assisting with exercise and non-exercise stress testing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and education in sonography or related field. New grads are accepted and relocation bonuses may apply for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year; BLS within 30 days - AHA.
• Sonography or related field is required.
• New grads accepted for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and assist with stress testing as needed.
• Utilize age-appropriate techniques and transducer positioning for optimal cardiac images.
• Apply M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow to assess chamber dimensions and valvular function.
• Document findings, correlate with clinical data, and communicate results to the cardiologist.
• Participate in mobile echo/vascular service regionally and in callback rotation.
