Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels for adult patients, with support for stress echocardiography as needed.

The role requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. New grads are welcome to apply. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Certifications: ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year; BLS within 30 days.
• Education: Sonography or related field.
• Work Experience: Accept New Grads.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia; use Doppler techniques as needed.
• Obtain images from parasternal, apical, subcostal and suprasternal views.
• Assess and document cardiac structure, function, and wall motion abnormalities.
• Communicate results with cardiologist and maintain documentation in system.
• Support mobile echo/vascular service regionally and participate in callbacks.
