Advocate Health at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Palos Heights, IL, is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to perform advanced echocardiography studies, including M‑mode, 2‑D, Doppler and Color Flow. You will help ensure high‑quality results and support physicians in complex procedures.

The role requires ARDMS or CCI credentialing, 2 years of cardiovascular sonography experience, and BLS certification within 6 months if required.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography.
• Typically requires 2 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography including digital quantification.
• Licensure/certification: Cardiac Sonographer RDCS‑AE or RCS; BLS within 6 months if required.

Responsabilités

• Performs advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures (M‑mode, 2‑D, Doppler, Color Flow) and measures data for accurate interpretation.
• Identify cardiac abnormalities and extend examination scope as needed, correlating results with anatomy and function.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, adapt imaging techniques for comprehensive echocardiograms to improve diagnostic accuracy.
• Assist in transesophageal studies with cardiologist and sterilize probes.
