Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiography studies, including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler and Color Flow Doppler, at the AMG Sheboygan Cardiology location. You will assist in catheterization labs as needed and prepare patients with thorough history-taking to ensure high-quality studies.

Qualifications include an accredited Sonography program and ARDMS/CCI certification eligibility within designated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in an accredited Sonography program.
• No prior experience required.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures and measurements to obtain accurate results.
• Identify and define cardiac abnormalities and extend scope as needed.
• Prepare patients and obtain clinical history to tailor imaging.
• Communicate findings to staff and maintain lab equipment.
