Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking a cardiovascular device specialist for the Heart Center. This full-time role involves direct patient care, device interrogations, and remote monitoring for pacemakers and ICDs.

You’ll work 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with travel to satellite offices as needed. The position requires 3–5 years of cardiovascular experience, familiarity with cardiac devices, strong computer skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years clinical cardiovascular experience.
• Familiar with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and automatic implantable defibrillators.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in the device clinic, ensuring quality clinical outcomes.
• Perform remote device monitoring and review device transmissions with patient condition correlation.
• Interrogate and reprogram pacemakers/defibrillators for in-office or urgent visits.
• Interpret device data and adjust settings per patient needs and department protocols.
• Educate patients and coordinate care with physicians and staff.
