Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Device Technician to support the Heart Center’s pacemaker and ICD program. You will perform device interrogations, remote checks, and patient education while coordinating with EP physicians and nurses to assure quality care.

Responsibilities include daily device checks, data entry in the EMR, and providing timely communication to clinicians. Strong computer skills and knowledge of cardiac devices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree encouraged/preferred.
• 3-5 years clinical cardiovascular experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for cardiac devices including pacemakers and ICDs.
• Perform device interrogations and reprogramming as needed.
• Review remote transmissions and correlate with patient status.
